Computer Tech Networking Virtual Open House 6 P.M. /event/computer-tech-networking-virtual-open-house-6-p-m/ Mon, 20 Jul 2026 04:00:00 +0000 /?post_type=tribe_events&p=14909 Build It, Fix It, Get Hired: Computer Technician Open House

Curious about a career in tech but don’t have a degree or experience? This is for you.

In this program, from day one, you’ll build your own computer and keep it, then learn to support, secure, and troubleshoot real systems and networks. You’ll train toward your CompTIA A+ certification and gain real-world experience through an externship before you graduate.

The world is obsessed with A.I., but here is a reality check: An algorithm can’t pick up a screwdriver. A.I. can’t crawl through a server room, it can’t terminate a fiber optic cable, and it can’t physically build the machines that hold the cloud together. Behind every virtual experience is a physical server that needs to be built, secured, and maintained by a skilled professional.

Embrace a unique opportunity to explore, learn, and engage at a virtual open house for both the Levittown and Medford campuses for the Computer Technician Networking Specialist program. Learn how to train for a career in I.T. in as little as 7½ months.

At Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø, we don’t teach you to just sit behind a screen. We teach you to master the machine. Our Computer Tech program is for the problem-solvers who want to get their hands on the hardware. From the beginning of the program, you aren’t just learning theory; you’re building your own computer, managing real network infrastructure, and gaining the “boots-on-the-ground” skills that make you indispensable.

Computer Technician Networking Specialist Open House

³Õ¾±²õ¾±³ÙÌý³Ù³ó±ðÌýComputer Technician Networking Specialist program page on our website to get more information about this career and field of study. In this program, you will learn how to provide network support, monitor and troubleshoot cloud computing, work with the Mac and Linux operating systems, and study security and performance, to name just a few topics. The Career Services department works with students throughout the entire program.

Why Join the Virtual Open House on July 20?

      • We’ll cover what you’ll learn.
      • Discover how the hands-on training works.
      • Find out about your evening and day schedule options.
      • Discover the kinds of jobs this opens up and the roles local employers like Optimum and AT&T are hiring for.
    2. Hear from students, staff, and faculty members. Learn about how we offer job assistance.

Financial Aid will explain how to finance your education, if qualified. And you’ll be able to schedule a personal interview and tour of the campus!

Discover how Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø can turn your knack for tech into a high-demand career! Whether you’re the “tech person” for your family or looking to pivot into a stable, growing industry, this session will show you the blueprint for success.
