Celebrate Juneteenth With Student Council (Levittown Eve)
In honor of Juneteenth, the Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Night Student Council invites all evening students and staff to join us for a special celebration on Thursday, June 18th.
🎉 Red, Black & Green Spirit Day 🎉
Show your spirit by wearing red, black, and/or green while still adhering to the Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø dress code. Students and staff are also encouraged to bring appropriate Juneteenth-themed props and accessories to participate in a fun photo opportunity for the yearbook!
🧵 Collaborative Freedom Quilt Activity
During dinner time, we will be creating a Collaborative Freedom Quilt. Each participant will decorate a paper square representing one of the following themes:
- Family
- Heritage
- Equality
- Dreams
All squares will be combined into one large Freedom Quilt that will be displayed in the hallway as a symbol of unity, reflection, and celebration. We hope you’ll join us as we recognize the significance of Juneteenth and celebrate community, culture, and freedom together.
We look forward to seeing everyone’s creativity and school spirit!
